What you pay, and how to change your mind
Everything about paying for the programme, in plain words. The terms say the same thing more formally, and where they differ, the terms and the law apply.
In short: you pay once for the whole programme, on your own or in a group. For 14 days after buying, as long as you have not started, you can withdraw with one click and the money goes back the way you paid it. The key closes the same moment. Once you start the programme, the right of withdrawal ends, and your rights if something is wrong stay with you.
What you pay for
The programme can be taken in two ways. Either way, one payment buys it all: every lesson, practice tool and examination with no end date, the app on up to three of your own computers, the chat with the hosts, the community with the other students, and the diploma when you finish. There is no subscription and nothing renews by itself.
- On your own: you start whenever you like, study at your own pace, and book video calls of your own with the hosts. The price: .
- In a group: you start together with a group on the group's first day, follow a plan week by week, meet the hosts in live lessons for the group, and talk in the group's own room. Video calls of your own belong to studying on your own. The price: .
Prices are in Norwegian kroner and include VAT where VAT applies.
How paying works
You pay by card at checkout, through our payment provider. We never see or keep your card details. Straight after paying you receive a receipt, your key and the terms, by email, in a form you can keep.
Starting the programme
The programme starts when you choose to start it: when you activate your key in the app or on your dashboard. At that moment we ask you to confirm two things: that you want the programme now, and that you understand the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when it starts. That is how Norwegian law treats digital content (the Cancellation Act, angrerettloven, section 22 letter n), and it is why we ask you rather than assume.
Until you start, you can look around as much as you like. The free account gives you the outline of the whole programme, and once you have bought it, the app's download opens without starting anything.
Starting with a group
A group key starts the programme on the group's first day, not before. If we have to move that day by more than a week, or cancel the group, we tell you at once, and you choose: a place in another group, studying on your own at no extra cost, or all your money back.
The 14 days to change your mind run from the day you buy, for a group too. If the group starts later than that, the right of withdrawal ends when the 14 days have passed, even though the programme has not started yet.
Changing your mind before you start
For 14 days after you buy, and as long as the programme has not been started with your key, you can withdraw from the purchase:
- On your dashboard, under Your programme, type your key and choose Withdraw from the purchase. You do not need to give a reason.
- Your key closes that same moment. It no longer opens the programme anywhere, so the programme cannot be started with it afterwards.
- What you paid goes back the way you paid it, within 14 days at the latest, and with card payments usually within a few days.
You can also withdraw by writing to us, or with the standard withdrawal form (standard angreskjema). The address is at the top of the terms.
After you have started
Once the programme has started, the right of withdrawal has ended. Your rights if something is wrong do not end: if a part of the programme does not work as described, or something is missing, the Act on the Supply of Digital Content and Services to Consumers (digitalytelsesloven) gives you the right to have it put right. If we cannot put it right in reasonable time, you may get a price reduction or your money back. Write to us and we will sort it out.
If we close your account
We only close an account for a serious breach of the terms, such as selling copies of the programme or sharing a key widely, and we tell you why. Deleting your own account does not by itself give a refund, but it does not take away any of the rights above.
Questions about a payment
Write to us. If we cannot agree, you can bring the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), and from there to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). It is free.
